This plant exhibits a fast growth rate and thrives under moderate to high lighting conditions. While not mandatory, CO2 supplementation is beneficial for robust growth. Pogostemon Erectus adapts well to a range of water parameters, from soft to moderately hard, and slightly acidic to slightly alkaline. It is typically placed in the midground to background of the aquarium and is compatible with most community aquarium inhabitants. Regular pruning encourages bushy growth and helps maintain its desired appearance.

Plants are incubated in a solution of 0.01% of the insecticide Buprafezin for one hour (Please do not just drop these in a shrimp tank or with any other crustacean. To use these within a tank please wash in water with baking soda under light.
