While it benefits from CO2 supplementation, it can grow without it. This plant prefers soft to moderately hard water with a slightly acidic to neutral pH. Propagation is achieved through cuttings or the use of offshoots. It is suitable for midground to background placement in an aquarium. Regular pruning is recommended to maintain a bushy appearance.

To use these within a tank please wash in water with baking soda under light.
