Salvinia natans is a versatile floating plant known for its ability to provide shade and cover for aquatic life while helping to maintain water quality. It's well-suited for a variety of aquarium setups and can thrive in different water conditions. Due to its fast growth rate, occasional maintenance is needed to prevent excessive expansion.

• Type: Floating aquatic plant.

• Size: Leaves are typically 1-3 cm in diameter.
• Growth Rate: Fast-growing.
• Lighting: Can thrive in a wide range of lighting conditions, but higher light levels promote denser growth.
• CO2 Requirements: Grows well without additional CO2 supplementation.
• Water Parameters: Adaptable to various water conditions, but prefers slightly acidic to neutral pH (6.5-7.5) and soft to moderately hard water.
• Compatibility: Provides surface cover for fish and fry. Compatible with most aquatic species.

• Maintenance: Requires occasional removal of excess growth to prevent overcrowding and to maintain healthy conditions for fish and other aquatic life.

Plants are incubated in a solution of 0.01% of the insecticide Buprafezin for one hour (Please do not just drop these in a shrimp tank or with any other crustacean. To use these within a tank please wash in water with baking soda under light. These are treated to remove the insecticide but there are cases where this has not been fully removed causing casualty's in crustacean. (Any issues please contact us we will sort ASAP)
