While it doesn't require CO2 supplementation, it can benefit from it for enhanced growth. Vallisneria Gigantea is adaptable to a wide range of water parameters but tends to prefer harder water. It is typically placed in the background of the aquarium and is compatible with most aquarium inhabitants. Maintenance involves occasional thinning of runners to control its spread.

Plants are incubated in a solution of 0.01% of the insecticide Buprafezin for one hour (Please do not just drop these in a shrimp tank or with any other crustacean. To use these within a tank please wash in water with baking soda under light.
