Information:

Vallisneria spiralis originates from Southern Europe and North Africa. It has linear grasslike leaves 4-8mm wide and pale to mid green in colour which are arranged in a rosette. The flowers are borne a long tightly spiralled stem from which the plants derives its name. This is an undemanding plant a good starting plant.
