Braeburn Apple

The Braeburn apple is a popular, late-season variety known for its crisp, juicy texture and distinctive sweet-tart flavour. Typically ready for harvest in October, Braeburn apples are great for fresh eating, cooking, and are excellent for long-term storage, allowing the flavour to develop further. While not self-fertile, Braeburn requires a pollination partner from Groups 3-5 and offers moderate disease resistance, though it may require some care in damp or humid climates. Suitable for gardens of all sizes when grown on dwarfing rootstocks, Braeburn can reach up to 4 meters (13 feet) in height, making it a versatile and rewarding addition to any orchard or home garden.
