It can grow quite tall, reaching lengths of 30+ cm (12+ inches). To thrive, it benefits from moderate to high lighting, and while the presence of CO2 is beneficial, it can still grow without it.
In terms of care, Bacopa amplexicaulis is considered moderately demanding. It is typically placed in the background of the aquarium. It thrives in a pH range of 6.5-7.5 and a temperature between 20-30°C (68-86°F). Regular pruning is recommended to encourage bushy growth and to maintain the plant's desired shape.

Plants are incubated in a solution of 0.01% of the insecticide Buprafezin for one hour (Please do not just drop these in a shrimp tank or with any other crustacean. To use these within a tank please wash in water with baking soda under light. These are treated to remove the insecticide but there are cases where this has not been fully removed causing casualty's in crustacean. (Any issues please contact us we will sort ASAP)
