It exhibits a moderate growth rate and thrives under moderate to high lighting. While not strictly required, the presence of CO2 can promote faster growth. Bacopa Australis adapts well to a range of water parameters, from soft to moderately hard, and slightly acidic to slightly alkaline. It's suitable for placement in the midground to background of the aquarium and is generally compatible with most community fish. To encourage bushy growth, regular pruning is recommended.

Plants are incubated in a solution of 0.01% of the insecticide Buprafezin for one hour (Please do not just drop these in a shrimp tank or with any other crustacean. To use these within a tank please wash in water with baking soda under light.
