2. Leaves : The leaves are lance-shaped with slightly undulated edges. They have a dark green to reddish-brown coloration, depending on lighting and nutrient levels.
3. Growth Pattern : It forms a rosette-like cluster of leaves that can spread outwards. It's well-suited for placement in the midground or background of an aquarium.
4. Lighting : While it can tolerate lower light conditions, Cryptocoryne balansae benefits from moderate to high lighting. Higher light levels encourage more intense coloration.

Plants are incubated in a solution of 0.01% of the insecticide Buprafezin for one hour (Please do not just drop these in a shrimp tank or with any other crustacean. To use these within a tank please wash in water with baking soda under light.
