Cryptocoryne usteriana 'Green', commonly referred to as Green Usteriana Crypt, originates from Sri Lanka. It grows to a height of 20-30 cm (8-12 inches). This plant thrives in moderate to high lighting conditions, and while it benefits from CO2 supplementation, it's not strictly necessary. Considered moderately challenging to cultivate, it is best suited for midground to background placement within the aquarium. It prefers soft to moderately hard water, with a pH range of 6-7.5 and a temperature between 22-28°C (72-82°F). Recognizable by its long, lance-shaped leaves with a green hue, this crypt appreciates a nutrient-rich substrate. It's well-suited for established aquariums with stable conditions.

Plants are incubated in a solution of 0.01% of the insecticide Buprafezin for one hour (Please do not just drop these in a shrimp tank or with any other crustacean. To use these within a tank please wash in water with baking soda under light.
